Malaka Spice opened its doors in 1997, in a small space in Lane 6, Koregaon Park. A brainchild of gastronomic explorers and avid travellers, Praful and Cheeru Chandawarkar, Malaka Spice serves ‘inspired, not imitated’ South East Asian cuisine. Many of the recipes are the late Chef Cheeru’s original creations, while others are inspired from their oriental roots. Some of our most loved items are Top Hats, Murtabak, Nasi Goreng, Pad Thai, Thai Curry, Momo Casket amongst many others.
Through the years, Malaka Spice has received much love and garnered patrons from Pune, other cities of India and several foreign countries. Known for its warm hospitality, fun-filled events and an exquisite food and beverage menu, Malaka Spice is a must visit for everyone, across age categories. It also plays host to budding artists, painters, musicians and is an integral part of Pune’s cultural zeitgeist. Today, Malaka Spice has three branches in Pune: one in Lane 5, Koregaon Park, one in Baner and one in Viman Nagar. 1 branch is at Vallonne Vineyards, Nashik, 1 branch in Panjim, Goa and 1 branch soon opening in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.
The Koregaon Park outlet has 3 sections – AC, Outdoor Smoking or Non Smoking
