Chef Abhijit Saha
Abhijit Saha is the Founding Director and Chef of Avant Garde Hospitality Pvt Ltd. DNA Newspaper has chosen him as one of the ‘50 Most Influential Persons’ who has impacted Bangalore. He won the prestigious ‘IFCA Entrepreneur Chef of the Year’ award 2008-2009 and the SICA ‘Golden Hat’ award 2010 for outstanding contribution towards the profession of Chefs. Rated amongst the top 10 chefs in the country by Outlook magazine, he is an expert in Classical and Modern European & Regional Indian cuisines.
Abhijit Saha has studied Culinary Arts and Oenology atIHM New Delhi and Johnson and Wales University, USA. He is a member of Chaine des Rotisseurs, Wine Society of India and Bangalore Wine Club. In the past he has worked with The Park Hotels, The Manor and Taj Group of Hotels, starting his career in 1990. He is fond of Art & Design and enjoys F1 racing.
