The Fatty Bao, Bangalore’s first Asian Gastro Bar, is a lively offering, rooted firmly in both fun as well as quality. Innovative Asian fare, a sexy bar and great service - The Fatty Bao is the perfect destination for a quick lunch, a leisurely afternoon or an evening get-together among friends, al fresco dining, cool cocktails and vibrant music and chilling on the rooftop. The Fatty Bao strikes a harmonious balance between a great bar and a trendy food space with a menu firmly anchored in fresh Asian flavours. Soulful Chasu Ramen, melt in the mouth Char Siu Bao, Spicy Tofu and Chinese Cabbage Bao, Vegetable and Water Chestnut Har Gow, Brie Tempura; sit comfortably on the menu alongside some all-time favourites. The rooftop bar – a cool yet relaxed space for evening drinks offer cocktails crafted from first class spirits, house-made syrups and locally sourced fresh produce like The Isphahan, Ho-Gin-Min, Fatty Sour and Mandalay Bay among others.

Chef Prashanth

A Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management from Bangalore University, Chef Prashanth has always loved food with different flavors and ingredients and prefers fresh, simple ingredients with bold flavors and food influenced by Mediterranean cuisine and Asian flavors. He borrows and interprets cooking styles and techniques from many cultures that lead to the creation of new and different dishes that incorporate various ingredients. Having worked with Olive Beach for over 9 years he moved to The Fatty Bao with the responsibility to head a kitchen and work with new cuisines.
