Chef Jacky Yiu

Chef Jacky Yiu began his culinary journey at the young age of 15 where he trained under a Dim Sum Master in China. He has since worked with established hotels around the world and developed a penchant for identifying the palate of a region and preparing cuisine tailored to garner superlative reviews. His passion, experience, sensibility and dedication have seen him evolve and perfect his craft to the delight of all his guests.

He joins the JW Marriott Mumbai from Peninsula Hotel Beijing, China where he was the Head Chef – Dim Sum and also assisted with the hot kitchen. Chef Jacky has over 25 years of experience in several five star hotel chains from JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok, New World Saigon and Shenyang, China; Shangri-La HotelShenzhen,Holiday Inn Hotel Xian, China and Taj Mahal Hotel Delhi amongst others.

Born in Hong Kong, Chef Jacky enjoys travelling and cooking and is therefore perfectly matched with his profession. He counts kitchen art amongst his various interests.
