Kailash Gundupalli is the celebrated Executive Chef of ibis & Novotel Bengaluru Techpark. A unique hotel property with five distinct dining options, the prestigious position of responsibility is a testament to Kailash’s culinary genius and his diverse experience of over 15 years in the hospitality industry.
Notably, his career took off when he landed the role of Executive Sous Chef at the Hilton London. Kailash drew great inspiration from the lively multi-cultural capital and mastered several cuisines which prepared him for his next responsibility as Executive Chef for Sheraton Fourpoints, Canada. Living in the French dominated region, Kailash also developed expertise in the French cuisine and is reputed for his signature Coq au vin and Curry crusted salmon.
Bringing his global influences to ibis & Novotel Bengaluru Techpark, Kailash is committed to executing each dish at the highest level, focusing on quality, consistency and taste. At Spice It, the flagship multi-cuisine restaurant of ibis Bengaluru Techpark, Kailash tingles local taste buds with speciality South Indian dishes. Reinforcing his international repertoire, Kailash is also responsible for the innovative Barbecue delicacies at Blue Terrain, as well as Oriental and European treasures at The Square, both premier food and beverage offerings at Novotel Bengaluru Techpark. A firm believer in innovation, Kailash infuses traditional fare with exotic twists giving new meaning to contemporary cooking.
Kailash is a multi-degree holder with a Masters in Culinary Management as well as a Masters in Business Administration specializing in Marketing from the Georgian University, Canada. In his leisure time, he enjoys golf, long drives and food & wine pairings.
