The Pink Poppadom serves modern Indian cuisine reflecting flavours rooted in centuries of tradition and capturing the movement towards the modern palate.
The menu opens up an array of exquisite creations such as exotic Gali ka Gosht, Fig & Walnut Seekh, and Flambéed Rasmalai Baked Alaska. A show kitchen plays centre stage for the chefs to present their culinary creations.
In 2015, the Pink Poppadom was rated as the “Best Modern Indian Restaurant” for the fourth consecutive year in a row by the Times of India – Times Food Guide Award.
Known for his unique and consistent style, Chef Manish Sharma is a well-travelled chef with a wealth of international experience. He has travelled the length and breadth of the country to master the culinary art. Raised in the snowy mountains of Himachal, he pursued his degree from the Bhopal Institute of Hotel Management. He started his career in the hospitality industry as a Commis Chef at Hyatt Regency Delhi, which is one of the flagship properties of Hyatt in India.
Chef Manish’s desire to travel took him to Grand Hyatt Dubai in 2003. It was during his time at Grand Hyatt Dubai is when he realized his passion for Italian Cuisine. He then worked on honing the skills, discipline and knowledge required to produce it. In 2005, Chef Manish Sharma decided to take his rewarding experience and newfound skills to Radisson SAS Dubai. To further shape his culinary skills he travelled to Kurumba Maldives, where he was heading nine outlets serving different authentic cuisines of the world.
Chef Manish has many laurels to his credit, from representing ‘Hyatt Regency Delhi’ in hero’s Chef Competition to successfully opening restaurants at Grand Hyatt Dubai to holding the position of a ‘Sous Chef’, at Taj Mt Road, Chennai.
