Larry’s China is a premier Chinese restaurant that opened in 1997. This is one of the most sought after places for Chinese food in Delhi. The theme of the restaurant depicts the changes that China went through, in the way of living, in the mid twentieth century when the communist rule began. The pictures on the walls of Larry’s China were taken from the album of Mr. L Carrington Goodrich who tried to put together the changes in lifestyle of people between 19th and 20th century. Wooden pagodas, lanterns, fabric colour and other light wooden work strongly symbolize the cultural richness of China. Masks are the integral part of the restaurant’s décor.
Some of the favourites on Larry’s China’s menu are Honey Chili Lotus stem, Crispy Spinach, Golden Fried Jumbo Prawns, Peking duck and wide variety of Dim sum with special packages for kitty parties and corporate lunches.
