Chef Shamsher Ahmed is Chef de Cuisine of the contemporary Indian dining venue- Kangan. Inspired by his late grandfather’s penchant for the royal flavors of North India, Chef Shamsher, over the years, has thoroughly familiarized himself with every aspect of North West Frontier Cuisine.
He always sticks to his words that a basic staple of Indian households, such as lentils and rice prepared by his Grand Dad were unmatched. At Kangan he is greatly committed in preserving the authenticity and emphasizes on retaining the natural flavors in the delicious Indian cuisine while his guests indulge their hearty meal with a delighted face.
He has always been innovative in his home made masala’s and is perfecting masalas pairings that gives food its own flavor. He offers natural spices to his kebabs and wants his guests to experience something new with every bite of his kebabs.
