MEKONG is an authentic Asian culinary journey down the Mekong River designed to transport the city’s diners to the old-world mystique of the River’s neighbouring cuisines.
Mekong is reminiscent of evocative memories and moods down a waterway - floating twigs, passing scenes and emerald hues. One of the best views of the city, Mekong overlooks Mumbai's green oasis – the Mahalaxmi Racecourse, while the Arabian Sea laps the southern and western shores of the city.
Beginning with true tastes of Yunnan, the province with a great variety of remarkable cuisine - aromatic, flavorsome with a strong ethnic character, the journey flows south to Vietnam and Thailand. Experience the four flavours that are the main tenants of the regions cooking style at Mekong - Salty, Sour, Sweet and Hot. When blended together with the specially flown-in herbs, spices and ingredients of this region, these will create a perfect balance of tastes that pleasantly startle and surprise the palate.
Adding to the exclusive ambience are two private dining areas for a rarefied gathering of connoisseurs where fine food & sparkling conversations take centre stage. Helmed by a team of native Chefs, the cuisines of Vietnam, Thailand and China complemented with a vast Dim Sum Menu, present a dining experience par excellence.
