Vetro, in association with Hassler Hotel, Rome, is located at the lobby level of The Oberoi, Mumbai. The restaurant owes its name to the extensive use of glass in the design and interiors of the restaurant. Vetro, which means ‘glass’ in Italian, captures the sunlight in different hues, changing the mood of the restaurant at different times of the day. The lounge and restaurant is designed to reflect the sophisticated and cosmopolitan flavour of contemporary Italian lifestyle. The ambience exudes elegance with the use of natural ‘crema marfil’ marble flooring, lacquered panels and flattering lighting. Guests enter into a comfortable lounge, a perfect place for a pre or post-meal drink. The lounge naturally flows from the restaurant’s main entrance into the dining area with the Enoteca, or wine library, dominating the space.
Vetro’s Enoteca continues to be very popular with guests, and is one of the only dedicated wine libraries in the city. Guests entering the glass-enclosed wine library will appreciate the floor-to-ceiling displays of wine, and a special table for wine and cheese tasting. Here, diners may sample a selection of four white and four red wines before deciding on the perfect bottle to accompany their meal. A cheese fromagier houses a range of cheeses, imported from different regions of Italy. The Enoteca’s 800-plus bottles of the finest wines include one of the largest offerings of Italian wines in the country – with selections from Fruili, Piedmont, Toscana and Venetto. Vetro also offers a range of “Super Tuscans”, often referred to as the best wines from Toscana.
The restaurant’s kitchen blends with the overall ambience, with a large picture window through which diners can view the culinary skills of the team. A Chef’s Table adjacent to the kitchen also benefits from this view. The Table can accommodate up to eight guests and is a perfect location for a memorable meal, created exclusively for them by Chef Vincenzo di Tuoro and his team.
For lunch, the menu at Vetro focuses on light and delicate food for the power-lunching Corporate guest and also provides the perfect setting for social afternoons. The menu includes a range of salads and soups, as well as a variety of items from the antipasti counter. Guests at dinner can choose from a wide selection of Italian classics, such as hearty soups, home-made pastas, risotto, seafood and meats, complemented by truffle essence, saffron, and other distinctive flavours. Those with a sweet tooth will delight in the home-made ice-cream, frozen yogurts and fresh biscotti, as well as other decadent Italian dolce. A selection of regional Italian cheeses completes the meal.

In November 2000 AD Singh and his partners opened a rustic hideaway in Mumbai, where food, drink, laughter and conversation gently merged in a Mediterranean melting pot of warm sunshine and good company. Designed by noted interior designer Nozer Wadia, it soon became an overnight sensation and won recognition both across India and on an international level.
The ambience couldn't be better - Al fresco dining, candles and old-fashioned lanterns. Melt into a chair and soak in the atmosphere, hang out the bar with your favourite cocktail, or then settle down to a languid meal with soft jazz and world music playing in the background. Here's a space transformed and morphed so ingeniously.
The menu crafted by Chef Manu Chandra at Olive Mumbai is a truly gourmet experience. Fresh flavours and herbs unite with ingredients sourced and skillfully prepared from gastronomic styles of the Mediterranean coastline. This culminates into a palate pleasing, innovative cuisine that is undoubtedly unmatched and achieves a perfect balance between contemporary Mediterranean fare and traditional comfort food. The emphasis is on freshness and unrivaled quality of the ingredients and the focus lies in its creative presentation.

Ziya is the sophisticated Indian restaurant at The Oberoi, Mumbai, serving modern interpretations of Indian cuisine. The restaurant’s name is derived from the word diya, which means “glow, light, and splendour.” With this in mind, the interiors have been carefully designed to reflect the name. The restaurant also celebrates the return of the prodigal Chef Vineet Bhatia, the first Indian chef to be awarded a Michelin star.
Dining at Ziya is a veritable feast for the senses. Upon arrival, guests are greeted by a stunning series of screens or jaali, in delicate gold leaf and sweeping views of the ocean. Diners can watch the chefs at work in the glass-enclosed show kitchen.
At Ziya, Chef Vineet and his team invite guests to enjoy an haute dining experience, by offering evolved Indian cuisine. International ingredients are paired with the tastes of traditional India, resulting in modern preparations with bold flavours, presented in a contemporary style. All dishes are pre-plated and the emphasis is on maintaining individual sets of flavours.
